AST is delighted to offer the Streambox Live IP-based video contribution service, fully integrated with AST’s suite of Value Added Services, ASTLive!™, available on the BGAN satellite platform. VSAT HUB & TELEPORT SERVICES

Professional Project Management is a key to the successful implementation of a communications link, HUB or Network. At CommCarrier we are able to carry out every step of the Project Management process, in conjunction with you, the customer, by translating the right Satellite Systems/HUB, network design, Bandwidth Requirement into a working system which will exceed your expectations. Some of the things that our Project Managers will take into account and organize are:

  •     Project analysis, assessment and site surveys.
  •     Equipment/HUB specification and selection, sourcing, delivery and installation.
  •     Capacity Requirement at remote as well as HUB.
  •     Uplink licensing and regulatory procedures.
  •     Procurement of Satellite and/or terrestrial capacity.
  •     Full end-to–end Data, Voice or Broadcasting Solutions
  •     Provision of full maintenance and on-going support services

Currently these services are available in-country and in East Africa. Where in-country support is not available it will be provided from the nearest location where there is trained staff. This will usually be from a territory close by, possibly with a common language and almost certainly from somewhere where a visa, with all the delays inherent in the application and issuing of one, will not be required. If there is a problem at the customer site CommCarrier’s Network Operations Centre is ready to help on a 7/24 basis. In many cases, through our on-line monitoring systems, the technician at the NOC, will be alerted to a potential problem before the customer is aware that anything is wrong. It is in CommCarrier’s interest to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction and we do our very best to achieve it.
